My Present Life
Well, presently I am a college student looking to major in web design. I have been teaching myself web development for about 5 years. I love to help people out, and spread my knowledge onto others. If you need help, all you have to do is ask! If you are online and need some help, grab my contact info from the contact page.

How I got into programming
Very, very odd story. Lets just say it involved neopets. Yes, neopets. Back when I was around 12, I played this. I was very bored at that age, cause I also played runescape and all these other games that seem horrible now (I dislike MMORPGs in general at this point). I wanted to make a site for my “group” or whatever, and help others make there site. So, I started to learn basic HTML from that site and it all branched out from there.

How I learned to program
Well, I was very determined to learn it. When I did not have internet for the computer in my room (which was in a basement at the time), I would burn CDs to bring files back and forth. Some CDs would literally have less than a meg of data on them. I installed WAMP at the time, and began coding very basic things. I started with an echo, then with a variable, and ofcourse the if statment, and it all came forth at that point. I now know most of the language by heart, and use Notepad++ as my main editor (Very fast and snappy!).

My tips to anyone starting
One reoccurring theme I see when people want to start programming is they don’t really want to know it.
You have to have to be determined to learn it. Well, at least thats what I have seen. Also, its 10 % memorization, 90% logic. If you have every heard of the UML (Universal Markup Language), its almost essential to programming. You might know what a foreach does, but how and when to use it?

Caio!
